Hey there, I’m Nathan! I want to help you grow your music career in as many ways as possible – and FAST
I’m an independent musician, music teacher, mixing & mastering engineer, and I’ve been playing in multiple bands for years now. I’ve completely self-recorded, released and promoted 5 solo albums – and this doesn’t even get into my band-related activities.
Music is my passion – I’ve lived it and breathed it since I was a kid!

The Bold Musician is all about making bold music career moves.
The music industry moves at a rapid pace. If you don’t stand out, then you’re doing yourself, your fans, and your music a great disservice.
It’s about not settling for being mediocre, and unlocking your full potential as an artist, which gets a passionate audience dying to hear more.
The music industry can be overwhelming looking at it from the outside. When I first started out (as an independent bedroom artist), I didn’t know how to do any of those things.
I quickly discovered that there were so many different things to think about, so many things you need to learn, and so many mistakes you can make along the way (mistakes that can hurt your progress and potential success).
There was so much that I didn’t know, and it took me years of trial and error to figure it all out. This can all be daunting – but it doesn’t have to be!

After speaking with a lot of beginners over the years and seeing how lost and confused they can feel, I started The Bold Musician with the intention of helping other musicians avoid those same mistakes and pitfalls that I’ve encountered along the way.
